Ohio State just did to Iowa what Michigan apparently forgot was allowed.. BEAT THEM.
Michigan got the Hawkeyes in the Big House last week and lost 20-19 on the final play. Ohio State went INTO Kinnick against No. 14 Iowa, who came in 4-0, and left with a 31-14 win. Iowa had allowed 32 points through its first four games. Ohio State damn near matched that in one afternoon.
And Jeremiah Smith is just getting ridiculous. 11 catches, 206 yards and 2 touchdowns. Iowa finished with 238 TOTAL yards of offense. Jeremiah came 32 yards away from outgaining an entire ranked football team BY HIMSELF.
His 57-yard touchdown gave him 36 career receiving TDs, breaking Chris Olaveโs Ohio State record. He also passed Emeka Egbukaโs career receptions record, and he already owned the receiving yards mark. So 34 games into his college career, Jeremiah Smith owns all three major receiving records at OHIO STATE.
Then he hit the Heisman pose after the record-breaking touchdown..
Yeah, I think the application has been submitted.
