The move is legal under FHSAA bylaws. Florida has transfer rules that allow mid-season switches, which makes this whole situation perfectly above board even though it feels like it shouldn’t be.

Why This Matters

Both schools were championship favorites. Now Leon has to play against his former teammates – kids he won a state title with just months ago. When these teams meet later this season, it’s going to be absolute chaos.

But from Miami Northwestern’s side, their former star quarterback just handed everything they taught him directly to their biggest competition. That’s cold as hell.
