Ndamukong Suh did the math for us. You’re in New York, you make $200,000, taxes take half, now you’re sitting on $100,000 and everybody still expects you to live like the guy pulling $40 million.
Only problem is NOBODY in the whole damn league makes $200,000. Rookie minimum this year is $885,000. Survive one season and it’s a million and five.
The closest anybody actually gets is a practice squad kid at $247,500, and nobody is confusing that guy with a superstar, they’re cutting him on a Tuesday.
