Indiana Fever fans thought they were getting the women’s Michael Jordan. Instead, they might have got the Joel Embiid of women. Caitlin Clark has made more buzz about her Taylor Swift inspired shoes than she has on the court this year. The Clark led Fever squared off against the Las Vegas Aces in the first round of the WBNA playoffs. Not only did Caitlin’s team lose to the Aces, but she was also significantly outplayed by A’ja Wilson.
Caitlin Clark was electric during her college days. She is also an upper tier talent in the WNBA. However, she has never led a team in a championship. She is also beginning to be passed by her peers. Is it safe to say that Caitlin Clark is an overrated basketball player? Should more people be talking about A’ja Wilson and how she should be the face of the league? Or maybe we should all just focus on Sophie Cunningham’s off the court content?
