Kyle Shanahan HATES Brandon Aiyuk. I don’t know how else to interpret this man anymore.
Aiyuk and his agent Drew Rosenhaus showed up at the 49ers’ offices today trying to sort out his NFL future. Shanahan was asked if he’d be involved in the meeting.
“No.”
What did he think was going to happen?
“No clue. Your guess is as good as mine.”
What would he LIKE to see happen?
“Could care less.”
LMAO. They’re not even divorced yet and Kyle is already changing the locks.
Remember, this is a guy San Francisco handed a four-year, $120 million extension to in 2024. Now they’re reportedly trying to get about $13 million of his signing bonus back, Aiyuk hasn’t played since his knee injury in 2024, and his agent left today’s meeting saying “To be continued.”
Shanahan probably heard that and said, “Please don’t.”
And I get it, the whole situation with Aiyuk has been a mess. But Shanahan isn’t even pretending to care anymore. He said he hasn’t asked ONE question about how the situation could affect the roster.
You could tell me somebody whispered “Brandon Aiyuk” into Kyle Shanahan’s ear at a restaurant and he immediately asked for the check, and I’d believe you.
