The 49ers are 5-0, they beat the Rams 27-7 to open the season, and they’ve finally taken over as Super Bowl favorites.. by basically NOTHING.
On Tuesday, DraftKings had San Francisco at +680 and the 2-3 Rams at +700. So the 49ers have three more wins, already beat the hell out of L.A., and Vegas still has these teams practically tied.
I’m starting to wonder what the Rams actually have to do to lose everybody’s confidence. San Francisco is undefeated, Brock Purdy is playing like an MVP candidate, and they’ve already beaten both the Rams and Seahawks.
Meanwhile, the Rams keep losing games and somehow everybody still thinks they’re about to turn into a Super Bowl team.
The Rams are absolutely LIVING off preseason expectations right now. Must be nice to have that kind of job security when you’re 2-3.
