It’s over.. it’s OVER. The Dodgers are winning the World Series again.
Atlanta finally gets Chris Sale in Game 3. He has six strikeouts through two innings, Mauricio Dubón robs Freddie Freeman of a homer, and for three innings the Braves had about as good a script as you could ask for.
Then Kiké Hernández hits another October homer because apparently October Kiké is just a permanent condition. Two batters later Freeman hits the one they CAN’T rob. Yoshinobu Yamamoto gives up ONE run in seven innings with 10 strikeouts, Edwin Díaz handles the ninth, Dodgers win 3-1.
Shohei Ohtani got dropped to fifth and went hitless.. and none of it mattered. Their biggest superstar can give them basically nothing at the plate and they still have enough dudes to beat Chris Sale on the road in October.
100 wins. Back-to-back champs. One win from another NLCS.
Somebody else can talk themselves into the field.. I’ve seen enough. Three-peat incoming. This team is a WAGON.
