Jared Verse Might Not Be Built for AFC North Football

Jared Verse, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Mason McCormick, AFC North, NFL

I really don’t think Jared Verse is built for AFC North football, because this dude has been in the division for half a season and he’s already pissed off at the Steelers AND his own teammates.

He spent the week talking about how the Browns were going to take over Pittsburgh, then Mason McCormick dumped him on an extra point. McCormick got flagged for it, which is fair, but now Verse is upset that none of his teammates came running to defend him.

The problem is that some of them didn’t even SEE what happened.

So you spent the week running your mouth, got into it with somebody, and now you’re mad at your teammates for not jumping into a fight they didn’t even know was happening?

McCormick even said he had no idea it was Verse he was grabbing. Meanwhile, Verse is having conversations with the Browns about why nobody had his back.

I think he’s used to the NFC West, where you can talk your shit all week and move on. The AFC North is a little different. These teams already hate each other. You don’t need to give anybody another reason to dislike you.

Verse even admitted he should’ve told his teammates beforehand how much shit he was planning to talk. Imagine having to warn the entire locker room that you’re about to start problems with another team.

And through all of this, he’s still sitting at ZERO sacks in eight games with Cleveland.

Maybe worry about getting to the quarterback before you start worrying about who has your back.
