The Ravens Are DEAD, and Lamar Jackson’s Era Might Be Over

Baltimore Ravens, Lamar Jackson, NFL, Ravens Rebuild, Lamar Jackson Injury

The Baltimore Ravens are DEAD. Donezo. And I think we might have just watched Lamar Jackson take his final snap in a Ravens uniform.

Baltimore waited three weeks to get Lamar back from an ankle injury, and his return lasted ONE PLAY. He injures his throwing thumb, needs surgery, and now there’s a real possibility his season is over. The Ravens proceeded to get their asses kicked 36-10 by Buffalo, and honestly, I think that might’ve been the final nail in the coffin for this entire era of Ravens football.

Because what exactly are we trying to save here? Baltimore is 4-4, has lost three straight, and without Lamar this offense looks like it needs written instructions on how to move the football.

And even if Lamar comes back next year, are we really just going to run this whole thing back again? Baltimore has spent YEARS building around him, chasing that Super Bowl, and at some point you have to acknowledge that the window might actually be closed.

I genuinely think we’re approaching a complete rebuild in Baltimore. New direction, major roster changes, and possibly moving on from the best quarterback this franchise has ever had.

It’s pretty crazy that a team we’ve spent years treating as an AFC contender might be one offseason away from tearing the whole thing apart.
