Buccaneers Beat Falcons Without Completing a Single Pass

Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving, NFL

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers just won an NFL game without completing A SINGLE PASS.

Baker Mayfield went 0-for-3 passing, the Buccaneers finished with NEGATIVE TWO passing yards, and they beat the Atlanta Falcons 16-0.

I don’t care how bad the weather was, that’s absolutely hilarious. The forward pass has been legal for over 100 years, and Tampa Bay decided today wasn’t the day for it.

Bucky Irving ran for 170 yards, Kenny Gainwell added another 140, and the Buccaneers rushed for 324 yards. Atlanta knew EXACTLY what was coming and still couldn’t stop it.

Meanwhile, Michael Penix Jr. was over there throwing four interceptions. Imagine being a Falcons fan watching your quarterback complete eight passes to his own teammates, throw four to the other team, and lose to a guy who didn’t complete ONE.

The last team to win an NFL game without completing a pass was the Buffalo Bills in 1974. It took 52 years for somebody to do it again.

Baker Mayfield just got paid to show up, hand the ball off, occasionally block somebody, and go home with a win.

That might be the greatest Sunday a quarterback has ever had.
