Imagine having TWO problematic kickers on the same NFL team.. that’s CRAZY.
Harrison Butker misses two field goals against the Seahawks, and the Chiefs respond by signing JUSTIN TUCKER to their practice squad?!
Kansas City might have the most controversial kicker room in NFL history.
Butker already made national headlines with that commencement speech a couple years ago. Now they’ve added Tucker, who served a 10-game NFL suspension following sexual misconduct allegations from multiple massage therapists, which he has denied.
Obviously two VERY different situations, but how the hell did the Chiefs end up with both of these guys?!
And the football side of this is pretty funny too. Butker has missed five field goals this season, and Tucker hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2024. His accuracy was falling off before he left Baltimore, too.
So it’s not even like Kansas City went out and found some guaranteed solution to its kicking problems.
I mean, most teams just want a guy who can put the football through the uprights and go home.
The Chiefs somehow have TWO kickers who can generate headlines without ever touching a football.
