Angel Reese Fans Have a Wild WNBA Championship Conspiracy

Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark, Gabby Williams, WNBA, Atlanta Dream, Golden State Valkyries, WNBA Finals

Apparently, Gabby Williams didn’t win the WNBA championship. She was actually part of a secret league-wide conspiracy to make sure Angel Reese didn’t get a ring before Caitlin Clark.

I wish I was making this up.

According to The Spun, some Angel Reese fans are genuinely accusing the WNBA of not wanting her to win because she’d become the unquestioned face of the league.

Now I need somebody to explain how this conspiracy worked because Atlanta was WINNING Game 7 at halftime.

Did the commissioner sneak into Golden State’s locker room and tell Gabby Williams it was time to activate the emergency anti-Angel Reese protocol?

Because Williams came out and scored 28 SECOND-HALF POINTS, finished with 30, and won Finals MVP. Reese finished with eight points and 12 rebounds.

That’s a pretty impressive conspiracy. The league didn’t even need to rig the officials. They just needed Gabby Williams to turn into Michael Jordan for 20 minutes.

And listen, Reese deserves credit. She had a fantastic playoff run and helped Atlanta get within one win of a championship. Nobody should be taking that away from her.

But can we PLEASE get back to a world where somebody is allowed to lose a basketball game without it becoming a federal investigation?

If the WNBA really didn’t want Angel Reese winning a championship, somebody forgot to tell them they were supposed to stop her BEFORE Game 7.
