Michael Robinson is suggesting Jalen Hurts might be sitting out because so many of his Eagles teammates are hurt.. and he’s telling people to GOOGLE the difference between a “superficial blood clot” and an “actual blood clot.”
The Eagles found Hurts’ clot before the Jaguars game. Doctors cleared him, so he PLAYED. He practiced in full Wednesday, then a follow-up ultrasound showed the clot had moved and the Eagles ruled him out against Carolina.
Where exactly in that timeline did Hurts decide he didn’t feel like playing football anymore?
Robinson even started with “I’m not a doctor,” which would be a pretty useful thing to remember before suggesting a superficial clot isn’t an actual clot. Superficial describes where the clot is located. It’s still a REAL blood clot.
Philadelphia’s season is ugly. There’s plenty of actual football to criticize without suggesting Hurts just looked around the locker room, saw everybody was hurt, and decided he was taking the week off too.
You don’t get to suggest somebody’s quitting on his team just because you don’t understand the adjective in his medical diagnosis.
